July 2024
In early 2020 we heard that a pandemic was sweeping the globe. Stories of chaos in hospitals and overflowing morgues propelled most into a state of fear. We hid inside, consuming news and rumors about this novel virus. In stark contrast, the world was suddenly and eerily silent. Airline traffic came to a halt. The sounds of children playing and of traffic disappeared. The sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling were no longer covered up. Wild animals ventured into urban areas devoid of humans. We ordered essentials from Amazon and left the packages on our stoops as we calculated the time necessary to kill any virus invisibly lurking on them. When toilet paper supplies looked insufficient, we went out armed with alcohol wipes, gloves and masks to stand six feet apart. To prevent unnecessary release of human breath, we avoided eye contact. We heard that a vaccine was coming to save us.
For most, this was a beacon of hope, but for me it was just an additional fear. I wrestled with what decision I would make. Anyone who questions vaccines is labeled anti-vax. Meaning anti-science, flat-earther, conspiracy theorist. I knew that childhood vaccines were not safe for everyone, but I did not instantly decide that I would refuse a Covid vaccine. I searched for information from sources I trusted. I was soon confident and lost all hesitancy. I would reject this so-called vaccine.
Nothing prepared me for what was about to be unleashed.
In the beginning supplies were insufficient to meet demand and access to the vaccine was based on your occupation and age. When there was enough for all, pressure increased. Rewards for vaccination were offered from cash to donuts. Places that had been shut down now opened, but only to those that could prove vaccination status. Families pressured hesitant members and shunned those who remained recalcitrant. TV talking heads disparaged us as selfish, declared that we were prolonging the pandemic and accused us of killing people. A late-night host suggested that we be denied lifesaving medical treatment. We were shunned by neighbors, friends and family. Evidently this is not enough for Tedros, head of the World Economic Forum, who feels the world has been too soft on anti-vaxxers and has called out for cracking down on us in his June 5, 2024 speech.
This call for a harsher response to us happens while medical journals are finally publishing reports of vaccine damage. A Lancet study that was pulled months ago and republished in June 2024 reached the conclusion that “74% of deaths after COVID-19 “vaccination” were caused by injections .. “. Some nations are opening investigations into the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. In Australia a major TV station hosted a discussion about vaccines with live audience participation. It did not go well. I have heard stories of doctors advising patients not to get any more vaccines despite the CDC’s recommendation.
Is this truth reaching those who anxiously awaited their turn to get the injection? Certainly, those who believe they or a loved one have been injured have awakened to this charade. Some who were vaccinated want to forget it happened and move on. What is not happening yet is an acknowledgement by our corporate media of the roll they played in pushing this on us. They owe us a huge mea culpa.
As Brett Weinstein says, “Zero is a very important number”. The number is no longer zero.
